ADAM GESCHEIT
B.App.Sc (Physio) MAPA, CIYT, Cert ZB

Adam is a licensed Physiotherapist and member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association. He has had eleven years experience in Melbourne, Sydney, U.S.A and the U.K. Adam’s services are recognized by all private health insurance companies - rebates apply.

Adam specializes in the treatment of postural ailments, musculoskeletal pain and sports injuries. He has worked with circus arts performers sporting teams and Moomba Masters water skiers. Adam has been commended for his unique healing touch. He is also trained in clinical Pilates and teaches using the reformer, other Pilates equipment and with floor based exercises.

Adam also practices other body/mind related traditions such as Yoga and Shaolin. Adam is a qualified Yoga instructor and a certified Zero Balancing practitioner (Click here to read more about yoga). He also uses acupuncture and offers a unique, holistic approach to health and well being.

DEBBIE SUMMERS
B. App.Sc (Physio) MAPA

Debbie qualified as a physiotherapist in 1996, since then she has worked in South Africa, London and Australia. She has worked in both hospital, private practice and an Art and Drama school. Hence she has had a broad base of experience treating people with acute medical and surgical problems as well as people with a variety of musculoskeletal problems and sports injuries.
In 2001 Debbie developed an interest in Clinical Pilates as a rehabilitation tool for into her clients.  She has continued her post graduate education to develop her knowledge and skills in Women’s Health issues such as pre- and post- natal  problems and Osteoporosis. She is also a certified Pink Pilates Cancer Rehabilitation Physiotherapist.

 

Liz Watson
B.Physio (Hons).

Since 2001, Liz has worked in Australia and the UK in rehabilitation and private physiotherapy settings. Embracing Clinical Pilates in 2005, Liz set up and developed a unique program in the practice she worked in.

She has extensive experience in the management of back and neck pain, shoulder pain, and injury prevention and recovery.She enjoys working with people of all capabilities and is passionate about helping her clients achieve and maintain a healthy musculo-skeletal system. She also loves helping clients to achieve a more efficient body posture!

Liz has a strong private interest in music which led to providing injury prevention programs to professional and studying musicians.

 

 

Simone Ray
Pilates. Adv. Dip Perf Arts.

Simone’s passion for movement began as a four year old exploring ballet, jazz and tap dancing. That led her to drama school, where she studied Feldenkrais and Alexander Technique. Simone shares her belief in and passion for Pilates, teaching at gyms, schools, studios as well as home visits. She offers group sessions, or privates and is trained in both Mat and Reformer Pilates.

 

 

ILONA GRUNBAUM
B. Physio MAPA. Dip.Mus

Prior to starting at Body Moves, Ilona had worked in several areas of physiotherapy including private practice, pilates instruction, acute hospital based physiotherapy, oncology and community health. She has experience in treating musculoskeletal conditions, women’s health problems, post surgical rehabilitation, oncology reconditioning and can provide studio/rooms or home based care.

Ilona believes that through regular pilates training, her clients can acquire leaner and longer muscles, reduce musculoskeletal pain, improve posture through correction of imbalances and hence, perform daily tasks with ease.
