Adam is a licensed Physiotherapist and member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association. He has had eleven years experience in Melbourne, Sydney, U.S.A and the U.K. Adam’s services are recognized by all private health insurance companies - rebates apply.
Adam specializes in the treatment of postural ailments, musculoskeletal pain and sports injuries. He has worked with circus arts performers sporting teams and Moomba Masters water skiers. Adam has been commended for his unique healing touch. He is also trained in clinical Pilates and teaches using the reformer, other Pilates equipment and with floor based exercises.
Adam also practices other body/mind related traditions such as Yoga and Shaolin. Adam is a qualified Yoga instructor and a certified Zero Balancing practitioner (Click here to read more about yoga). He also uses acupuncture and offers a unique, holistic approach to health and well being. |
DEBBIE SUMMERS

Debbie has been working as a qualified physiotherapist for 10 years. She has worked in South Africa and the United Kingdom in both a private practice and the hospital setting. She has had experience treating a variety of spinal musculoskeletal problems, sport injuries and acute medical and surgical conditions. She has also worked in an Arts and Drama School in London.
Debbie has developed her skills as a Clinical Pilates practioner to help restore balance and strength to her patients. She has developed a special interest in Woman's Health issues such as pre and post natal care and Osteoporosis.

DEBRA KIVEN

Debra has been practicing yoga since 1985 and began teaching in 2000. She holds a level 2 Iyengar teaching certificate. She has worked with prominent yoga figures including the Iyengar family and T.K.V. Desikachar. Debra studied at the Iyengar Institute In Pune, India in 2003 and enjoys sharing her passion for yoga and its benefits with others. |

Prior to starting at Body Moves, Ilona had worked in several areas of physiotherapy including private practice, pilates instruction, acute hospital based physiotherapy, oncology and community health. She has experience in treating musculoskeletal conditions, women’s health problems, post surgical rehabilitation, oncology reconditioning and can provide studio/rooms or home based care.
Ilona believes that through regular pilates training, her clients can acquire leaner and longer muscles, reduce musculoskeletal pain, improve posture through correction of imbalances and hence, perform daily tasks with ease. |
